Notable for its slender skull and feet and relatively small size, Suskityrannus was originally thought to be a dromaeosaur. It also had a large brain for its body size. This species would go on to bridge the evolutionary gap between the early smaller Tyrannosaurs and titans that ruled the late Cretaceous.
